Glad she had two great days! My difficult child used to steal and I thought he would never outgrow it. He used to steal things from school all the time, things left on people's porches, our stuff. Then when he was in third grade we started having him check his backpack in with the teachers in the morning (instead of having it in the locker like other kids he turned it into them) and he would get it back at the end of the day. He had to do this for three years (for him it was just part of his routine). Now, he doesn't steal at all (knock on wood). He makes comments about being proud that he doesn't. I'm not really sure what did it for him-I do think part of it was the backpack thing.
