Sleepwalking Dog

    I've actually seen that before in a cat. It's a type of seizure disorder in most cases. The poor dog needs to be on medication for that condition as pets with that sort of epilepsy are unable to sleep normally and that can cause all sorts of problems.

    Dogs and cats do "run" in their sleep: paws and legs twitching and vocalizations and the like, but this goes way beyond that.

    Wow! All my dogs have moved their legs a little but nothing like that! It's funny but worrisome.
