IsItFridayYet?
For work. Sitting there with my boss and several co-workers

My boss says 'omg, I got my first note from the teacher today. It was awful. My son (who's 5) won't sit still and has been talking a lot.'.

Another co-worker says 'gosh, I got one last week about my son (who's 6). At least they haven't CALLED me yet.'

And then they proceeded to exchange horror stories...

I just sat there. It's been a good year and a get calls weekly!

Several times a week????? I would love that right now.... (Several times a day....sigh.) Those folks have no clue--good for them I guess haha! I am thinking of putting a tent up in the school library.

You mean there are parents who DON'T get calls from the school several times a week? Really?
And then there are us parents who panic if we don't get calls at least every other week... because it means there's stuff going on that the school isn't catching, which means there's a build-up happening. And that is exactly what we're trying to avoid...but they won't believe us until it happens. Partly because THEY don't have a clue what its like to live "our" life.

At least somebody, somewhere, understands!

Thanks.

The school Jett's at emails - they know they'll get a response.

Onyxx's doesn't call. They know she is in foster care.
