Since we live near NIMH in Bethesda, MD, where PANDAs research has been going on for some time, doctors here are very familiar with PANDAs. Both our pediatrician and neuro thought J and M might have PANDAs at one point because of repeated strep infections, but their anxiety symptoms were not episodic enough to meet the diagnostic criteria.

difficult child 2's Sydenham's and the ensuing bipolar emergence all falls under the PANDAS umbrella. I wish this was something more doctors were aware of and knew how to treat.
