This guy is amazing. He is still performing...just not doing all the 'moves.' I saw him in concert a few years ago and when he went to jump off the piano he said, "Ahhh, sh*t. Somebody just help me down." (Watch the trumpet player twirl.)

I love this song- but I think James Brown died a year or so ago.

Gosh, yes...died in 2006. I guess he performed up to the end. If any of you oldies witnessed any of his earlier days, he was quite the performer. Backflips, sommersaults...just plain crazy dancing.

I think that he did- I remember this because they had it all over the news: his live-in girlfriend who had a young son with him was in a legal battle with his older kids over the will.

Yeah, he was a southern boy--from my home state---or Georgia---depends on who you ask. His death was an ugly mess----but omg he put on an amazing show until the end.
