Special Needs Amusement Park

I LOVE the idea of a "Sensory Village". The only drawback is that it's in San Antonio Tx. That's quite a trip from here - but maybe a few of you will be able to hit it!

This is so cool, Beth!! Boo would *love* it. I'd probably cry the whole day, watching him on rides.

I watched one of the videos on his site about how they've made the carousel so that not only can kids in wheelchairs be on it, but they've cut the horses in half and made it so that the kids can actually go up and down. Boo was so tickled when we discovered that the carousel in Lincoln Park Zoo actually had wheelchair tie downs (I thought we'd never get him off, LOL)... gosh, if he were able to actually go up and down as well, he would be in seventh heaven!

Hmmmm, we have family in TX.... maybe it's time for a road trip.
