The bucket list

Daisy, We can start our own gun club with parent support discussions between rounds! No kids allowed for obvious reasons.

Leader: "Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?"
Member: "I think we will let her up first in the next round of practice!"

Mom? What's a difficult child?
OK before I post mine! There are a lot of you that need to go to the corner RIGHT now... Mile high club indeed.
And I thought I was frisky.
I have groped on an airplane. But my word. Maybe Abbey was serving drinks on these flights? ;)
Looks like that corner is going to be pretty full. Ehem.

ML, I am shocked!! Remind me that when we meet, if you are going to be drinking white russians, I volunteer to be designated driver. LOL!! I used to drink those, but boy, I ended up....well....let's just not go there. I'll have a beer or two and I'll drive, ok?

O.K., I am very ignorant on a lot of subjects. What is the "mile high" club? Is it pretty much what it sounds like? You are usually "flying"?

I have lead a very sheltered life. While other kids were out experiencing whatever life threw their way, I was babysitting. Lots of just being alone and watching Johnny Carson.

I will stick with a gun club - though I will let someone else take my turn at practice. I have shot a gun and hate it!

Andy, the mile high club is composed of people who, erm....get very friendly with each other while on an airplane.

Soooooooooooooooooooooo Abbey.

Do tell. Does the altitude enhance the experience? Inquiring minds want to know.

*looks around and blinks*

Ok......so maybe just me.

*sigh*

How's the chocolate and booze supply in the corner? Do I need to stop off somewhere on my way there?

So THAT'S why the airline toilet "busy" light is always on!

Seriously though, I did know. It's just that the first few times I was on a plane I was with my mother, then with husband on our honeymoon, and after that we had small kids. Or bigger kids. husband is a stickler for rules being followed, especially safety rules. Me too, I guess.

But the nude beach, that was another story... it was husband who discovered it and introduced me to it, soon after we moved to this village. It's so isolated very few people know about it. We used to go there to swim (trust me, nothing else!) every weekend. It's a lot easier to swim and to get into the water, when you're not having to worry about a cold, wet swimsuit next to your body. Mind you, that sand gets into some awkward places...

I'll go to the corner now... if I can find some room there.

My gosh, Andy...you are sheltered.

Minor details. On my first flight ever to Oregon to work the summer for the USGS with boyfriend. Well, mid flight had to use the potty (emmm...yeah). Now you know why that light is always on.

Ooooooooh!

Answer is still "No"! And pretty much sure that is one club I will never be part of.

I always said my parents had it super easy with me. I didn't start rebelling until AFTER I left home and then just minor rebellings like purposely eating Jr Mints in a Vo-Tech class that the teach specifically stated no food or drink in his class. At 18 yrs old, I was the youngest and being a vocational school most students were well into their 20's and even older so I figured we are all adults we should be able to bring food to class if we want.

And, I am enjoying the company I find in those corners. As adults we can be sent to busy corners. Being in trouble as a kid and being sent to an empty corner is no fun.

Mom? What's a difficult child?
I did watch my Dad get it on with a woman on a plane on one of our trips home from Mexico!
They were sprawled out across 3 seats making out, bathroom soon followed.
Most of the mile highing took place prior to the strict FDA rules being put into place.
I remember being able to smoke on an a plane!.
I have done Naughty things in other public places though. Tisk tisk
