The dreaded change of seasons

difficult child has been doing so well, she was almost this close to typical teen. But with the change of season, shorter days, cooler weather, she is driving us nuts. Up all night, won't get up for school...what a long process every morning. I am tired of fighting the fight!

Sigh, just venting.

I don't have problems with the change of seasons, but my sister in law has all kinds of trouble with my nephew when the seasons change and I know from what she tells me that it can be a very hard time. I hope it gets better soon.

Change of seasons, or specifically the changes in duration of daylight, ramp up my bipolar big time. I have trouble when the days start to get shorter and again when they start to get longer.

Unfortunately, the daylight lamp kit I used in Germany, didn't help me though a lot of people with seasonal affective disorder do get a great deal of help from artificial daylight.
