The snow can come now....

The last 4 years I've been struggling with ice dams....last year was the worst & caused considerable damage in my kitchen & dining room.

Everything is ready now. I've had the gutters repaired & covered, heat tape installed on my roof (that took some extensive electrical work) & the soffit & fashia (sp?) repaired on my garage. After a somewhat pricey investment I will no longer fear those 2 dreaded words ICE DAM. (The money was well spent in that I've spent more on damages over the last 4 years than my investment alone ~ wish I'd known about heat tape before.)

I just have to get my snowblower tuned up now & it can snow all it wants ~ I'll be ready.

Stunning reminder that I'm from down south. I didn't understand any of that except the gutters. Glad you're prepared though!
