    Shari IsItFridayYet?

After Christmas break, each child in Wee's class wrote a prediction or resolution for 2010. They made them into a "quilt" on the wall outside the classroom.
Wee's has 3 stick people - one presumably Wee - the other a girl.
And it says "I predict 2010 will be a great year and I will learn to ignore people who upset me."
This kid tries SO FLIPPIN HARD.:(

I hope that you will tell Wee that his New Year's resolution is nearly identical to mine. I am also trying very hard to ignore people who upset me and not let them ruin my day or my life. It's a tough goal...

    Even for a grown-up!

by the way--I'll bet he can do it!!!

    totoro Mom? What's a GFG?

    I agree :(

I hate that our poor kids have to even think like this.
I am trying to teach N this. We try to teach them how to deal with the real world and not let their "disorders" be an excuse... but sometimes they just can't help it. it just breaks your heart.

    gcvmom Here we go again!

I think that demonstrates what a great job you are doing with him! He is resilient and he has great self-esteem, and that can carry him very far even in the face of all the challenges he has.

    Hang in there, Shari. :)
