I remember having talks like that with Youngest while in Residential Treatment Center (RTC) .. it's easy for them to feel so overwhelmed when all they have is time. time to think, reflect, mixed in with a healthy dose of self-pity. I think it takes awhile for things to sink in with our difficult children .. their learning curve is a bit skewed.
