[QUOTE="Hound dog, post: 527164, member: 84"] We're back, and I suppose it went ok. The folks at this facility are actually helpful, instead of full of attitude. Travis even got his SS card fixed from a typo that occurred during the last application, they're sending it to him in the mail. Good kid that he is, he's learning, he played the white cane to the hilt, made certain it was noticed by the CW. (usually he's trying to make it NOT noticeable) CW basically took down all the info I took great pains in doing last night.......so um yeah, dunno what they sent that paperwork for us to do was for. This guy only took docs that did dxes basically, the relevant ones, not every single doctor known to mankind, which was nice and made sense. I made certain the last neuro (adult) and BSVI were on the list, BSVI especially as they were the last to give him a really good going over for his eyesight. And it seems, it's being processed mostly for his blindness. I don't quite understand this.........and it's being said that since he last worked at age 22, that he was not disabled before then because he could "work" although he had the dxes at a much earlier age. (huh??) Since that is the case, very glad I got those 2 recent docs on there. So it actually went pretty fast. (records from his last app as a child were recently destroyed, oh well lovely) They do have a record of him filing and him being denied as a child. But this guy says you can't be denied due to income, but the CW we had last time said that was the reason.........so now I'm confused. (she said husband made too much and that we had ample insurance to cover his treatment) I didn't argue with the man, I just told him that was what we were told. And I did tell him most doctor dates were guesstimated because well gee, some of these are nearly a decade ago, some even much longer.
