Kanga does not get that a psychiatric hospital stay is not a spa. She is mad at me because I had her transferred to a different psychiatric hospital. "But mom, all my friends are at the other psychiatric hospital. I liked it there."
And, it is looking less and less like we can get a placement for her for in between her being discharged from the psychiatric hospital and getting funding for the Residential Treatment Center (RTC).
So far they have said we have a budding personality disorder on our hands but they can't diagnose her with that because she isn't 18 yet. I think they are leaning toward schitzoaffective.
OH MY GOD, she may need to come home. We are all very frightened.
Hopefully, day 10 at psychiatric hospital will bring some progress.
