Update on my eyes, boobs etc.

My fever broke overnight. I saw the doctor today who was very relived I was a bit better. But the fever is rising a bit tonight. Not as bad as it was, but I need to go carefully.

The doctor gave me a referral to the allergy specialist today. I have another two appointments coming up which need new referrals so she wrote those out. She is still waiting on reports coming in from the hospital and form the eye specialist. Meanwhile other medical services were calling today - the cancer centre called to see how things were going. Not a good day.

I have to go out tonight, it is the last night the choir can practice before next week's performance, and I'm the conductor. If we'd had everyone present in recent weeks, we could risk cancelling. Depending on who turns up tonight, I might even propose cancelling the performance. I really should stay home, but t least the choir practice is nearby, I get a lift there and back, plus we're in a warm room. I'll come home and go straight to bed.

Utterly fed up with it all... next Tuesday is going to be hectic and I need to be well enough. The performance first, then difficult child 3 has to drive me to the eye doctor and also to his hand therapist (they're next door to each other). The timing means he will be driving us home during peak hour. That will be interesting...

I just remembered - he has his drama class on Tuesday afternoons. That comes before we can go home.

I really had better be well enough!

it seems crazy when you have to be well enough to go to the doctor.

I am sorry you are dealing with so many health problems all at once. Hopefully the chest infection is not whooping cough. It is one of the most miserable infections out there - felt like coughing ground glass back when I had it. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily.

The floaters are not fun, are they? My mother has had similar problems in the last few years. Your blood pressure can have an effect on them, so be sure you are checking it regularly. If the floaters get worse it is a good idea to check your blood pressure. Mom's problems did not start with her recent blood pressure problems, but she sees a real increase in floaters since the pressure spiked.

I hope you feel much better very soon. If possible, let difficult child 3 chauffer you around whenever he is available. If nothing else it may let him feel like he is doing something that will help you feel better. My kids, esp the boys, tend to cope with having me be under the weather if they think they are helping me get better - even if they cannot verbalize how powerless they are feeling.

You probably remember this, but in your post about the allegations of cheating you mentioned getting ring splints for difficult child 3. This is likely why you are seeing the hand specialist, but if it isn't this might help you remember. It is hard to remember everything when you are sick.
