I was just reading this on my CHADD newsletter. This is potentially great! As long as people do not try and take advantage of it just because they do not want to deal with public schools.

But when one is dealing with a situation where the school is not prepared or unwilling to help one of our kids then I am fully for this!
Of course people will think we are just trying to take advantage of the tax payers money and get special things for our kids who just don't "want" to do well in school.

Oh well baby steps!

I'm hoping that it will give me some leverage to get the school district to step up if we lose the grant that currently pays for Kanga's Residential Treatment Center (RTC).

JJJ you were one of the first that I thought of and Shari when I read this.
At this point who cares what the "common" folk think!
Kanga needs supports in some form...

With the budget cuts, special services get cut first.
