In the paper today there is the wildest recipe. I want to share
just in case someone in the family wants a "theme" dinner. Ready?
It's called "Dead Mans Foot"....I wish I could show you a picture
of it. 1 lb of ground chuck, 1 box Pepperidge Farm
stuffing, 1 C of ketchup, 2 eggs, and seasonings. Mix together
until incorporated and then form a ball.
Use the ball to shape a foot (space between the toes) and an
ankle that is "pinched" at the top to look sawed off. Use garlic
cloves on each of the five toes for toenails.
After you have the foot, toes and ankle shaped pour a jar of
lumpty spagetti sauce over the foot to look like blood. Candy
worms can be added under the sauce. Stick a cheese cleaver or
a mean cleaver into the top of the ankle AFTER it is cooked.
(Bake at 350 for an hour).
This would be so fun for older kids! DDD
