This had previously gotten good reports but now they're saying you can have serious side effects, particularly in pediatric pts, incl. neuorpsychiatric events leading to death.

My doctor has never wanted to prescribe this. She says her patients just haven't seen enough of a benefit to warrant the medication. She feels that the old fashioned remedies (fluids, treat symptoms, rest, wash hands freqently) along with routine and systematic disinfecting handles, doorknobs, phones, etc are more effective.

Apparently the Airborne product is doing a massive consumer refund - not sure the details, have to look it up.

They make the Squid soap I posted about a while back. Some of you mentioned it squirted straight out. I had gotten 4 of them, and 1 of hte 4 was made very differently - it squirted straight out. The others didn't. I just opened the 4th and was NOT happy to receive soap up inside my sleeve! It is gone, baby, gone!
