What do you think stopping the ceremony when the child's family is being rude and obnoxious and pointing it out to 5000 people would do? I think the kid would want to die on the spot. Talk about punishing a child for the parents' behavior. in my opinion, it comes back to blaming the organization for trying to deal with the lack of common sense of the participants. The bigger problem is that people today seem to think that rules are for other people. I saw a parent today ignore the designated student drop off line and pull in front of the bus lane and teacher parking lot instead. She tied up traffic in both directions. She didn't think she should have to wait in line like everybody else. I recognized the kid that got out of the car and it was a student who doesn't like to follow the rules, either. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. ~Kathy
