They also have support groups for parents. It's a long process, but perhaps NAMI can assist you or give you information on Social Security or disability............I don't know a lot about that, like DDD mentioned you may have to call around to every agency to find out what's available out there. I've done that as well, and I did in fact, find folks who helped me.
