Count me in. Esp as I don't drink - my body acts really unhappy when I drink. Please don't take this wrong, but your child's psychiatrist has NO business writing rx's for you. These medications are SO powerful and you really NEED your own doctor to rx them based on YOU, not on what works for your child. I have zero problems with medications, have been on them and my mom was on them back when I was still in high school. I see NO stigma to them. I just worry because your child's doctor knows your child's medical history but does NOT know yours. It is SO easy to make a mistake with these medications, and your family needs you to be the best you can. PLEASE get medications from your own doctor. It is great that your child's psychiatrist recognizes that your health is crucial to your child's, and I would have given my right arm to have a psychiatrist who could see that back when Wiz was so messed up, but you still NEED a doctor to make sure that the right things are being trialed iwth you. Terry, what kind of friends do you have? An AFFAIR? Seriously? How on EARTH would that help??????? I can see wine, even whiskey now and then - and have often lamented that it is NOT an option for me anymore because I get dog sick, but an affair? The last person who suggested that to me other than my brother was his then wife who had just told me about all of the ones she was having (while married to MY BROTHER!) People are so strange. Not in relation to the medications stuff, but to the other stuff.
