Oh, I agree. There is always something more to it, I am pretty sure for all addicts.

I've sat through enough "family meetings" to understand that our addicts use for a reason. Rehab is supposed to help them recognize those triggers and develop better coping mechanisms. Certainly self medicating anxiety could be a reason, and having money is always a huge trigger.

It just seemed, from your post, that you wanted him either in rehab, or out of your house. You do have leverage if that is the case

Sister's Keeper - At the time he was not following house rules but now he is so we keep rolling with the changes! Hoping he'll get to where he needs to be with support and therapy but it's a crap shoot! Just enjoying the wave of peace for now I guess.
