I was just looking up a drug online for a report I'm working on. I stumbled upon this website that is specifically meant for druggies and they tell each other how to use their prescription drugs to get higher and all kinds of enlightening things. Sick! How are sites like this even legal??? They talk about their dealers and their heroin and everything. I think I want to vomit.

You can get by with just about anything online. At least until the DEA catches up to them.

My friend was buying prescription drugs from some doctor in mexico for months. Hard core scripts too.

That's the web for you. There are all kinds of enabling sites for many different things. Drugs, anorexia, bulimia, even suicide. Pretty much everything. There are some sick people in the world and many of them have a computer.

The drug I was looking up.....I googled it and the first link was to someone asking if they could crush it up and snort it!!!! I'm just simply amazed. I guess I'm just naive, I dunno.

When I went to Tulsa, I heard an ad on the radio for a place that sold drug supplies. And advertised it as such.

I'm not shocked.

Roll With It
There are a lot of ways for druggies to learn how to get higher on less drugs online. It is sad. I personally think that a lot of the reason myspace and facebook and xanga and twitter and those types of "networking" became such a big deal was that the druggies and dealers could use them basically unchecked to take care of "business".

I just wish the cops were savvier about using these sites to catch the drug dealers and child sex/porn dealers and gun runners, etc.... The police/FBI/DEA are getting better, but there is just so much that cannot be traced, or that can be used to hide things online. It has to be very frustrating for the police.
