"Infant mental health" is a term that refers to:
The healthy social and emotional development of a child from birth to three years; and
A growing field of research and practice devoted to:
the promotion of healthy social and emotional development;
the prevention of mental health problems; and

More attention is finally being paid to the toddlers who are having severe emotional/behavioral difficulties. Parents aren't forced to cope with things alone anymore.
