    I didn't see this site listed on CD. I found it helpful.
    Infant Mental Health / Social Emotional Health
    "Infant mental health" is a term that refers to:
    The healthy social and emotional development of a child from birth to three years; and
    A growing field of research and practice devoted to:
    the promotion of healthy social and emotional development;
    the prevention of mental health problems; and
    the treatment of the mental health problems of very young children in the context of their families.
    ZERO TO THREE's role in infant mental health
    Since it was founded in 1977, ZERO TO THREE has worked to promote the healthy social, emotional, and intellectual development of our nation's infants and toddlers by supporting and strengthening families, communities, and those who work on their behalf.
    ZERO TO THREE brings researchers and clinicians together to define infant mental health.
    ZERO TO THREE helps to build the field of infant mental health research, practice and policy through scientific debate, professional education, program consultation, leadership development, public awareness, parent education, policy analysis and development, and publishing.

    More attention is finally being paid to the toddlers who are having severe emotional/behavioral difficulties. Parents aren't forced to cope with things alone anymore.
