    Circle of Support for...

    our long-time member Pony Girl. Her dear baby grandson is going through some intensive medical procedures (please see the Parent Emeritus forum for more info). I know this is a hopeful but very stressful time for the entire family.

    I'm reaching out from New York State and sending supportive thoughts and prayers...

    DH: Cyclothymia, seizure disorder, 4 years post craniotomy; Trileptal, Lamictal, recently disc'd Paxil
    GFG1: 17m; ADHD, GAD/depression, Crohn's (remission), IBS, asthma, allergies; Focalin, Daytrana, Remeron, Tegretol, Imuran
    GFG2: 15m; BP-Mixed, Sydenham's chorea (remission), mold allergies; Seroquel XR, Depakote ER, Namenda, Amantadine
    PC/GFG3: 12f; anxious, copes o.k. w/o meds
    ZOO: chickens, cats, turtle, lizards, fish...

    Me: BPII(rapid cycling),GAD, "AS-lite", fibromyalgia and arthritis. Trileptal, Haldol (can't tolerate the modern APs), Ambien.

    gfg 26yr old son. Leaving home Sept. 2010 for Texas. Will do training for a career and live on his own.
    Dx: AS,atypical mood disorder,Nonverbal learning disability, executive function difficulty, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and verbal processing difficulty.
    pc: 21. Good boy. Starting 3rd year of college and works a lot.

    3 canine companions- Cowboy, Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth. They should be named sanity, support and comfort.

    right back in Wisconsin. Keeping your grandson in my prayers. Minnesota is good at what they do. My great nephew had a bone marrow transplant a few years ago and is doing great! Onto....

    gfg 14 years-old son adopted at birth-premature by 3 months-birth mother use crack,-bipolar, ADHD, Cognitive Disorder Not Otherwise Specified, Severe dyslexia taking clazapine, loxapine, gabapentin, clonidine during the day for help with ADHD symptoms.
    pc/gfg 18 year-old daughter, also adopted, taking generic of Welbutrin for depression and Risperdal (sp?).

    Me: Beth-Separated. I was laid off so now a SAHM - too much for DH to handle-place of his own at my request
    GFG1-son-11 Aspergers Syndrome, ODD, anxiety - Lots o'meds. Third hospitalization. Looking for RTF.
    GFG2 - son - 10 - Aspergers Syndrome, doing beautifully in a CTT, bright, very funny little kid
    GFG3 - daughter - 8 1/2 - Aspergers, wicked anxiety-loving, but demanding, headed for meds to curb anxiety and defiance
    New Baby - daughter - born 1/09 cute little bugger, Speech & swallowing delays
    1 dog black lab mix Gremlin, 2 anole lizards, and most recently a blind shi tzu puppy "Furb".

    Myself: High School Math teacher

    DH: Married for 28 years; also a math teacher

    GFG: 26 year old daughter, dropped out of college (again), substance abuser, went through rehab and then got kicked out of halfway house, living back at home, currently in a DBT program, just got a job as a stylist assistant to work towards renewing her license.

    J: 23 year old daughter, graduated from college in May, is currently a first year high school math teacher -- like mother, like daughter.

    Family pets: 4 year old Shih Tzu named Gracie, 2 year old Shih Tzu named Buddy
