    Just because it's cute ...

... here is my 9-1/2 month old grandson, Ethan, getting his first haircut! This really brings back the memories! They expected him to put up a fight but he just sat there and let her do it!

How cute! I love how it is just no big deal to him, just rolling with the punches. My gfg used to get kicked out of great clips at that age, he would scream and throw fits. Horrible. The only place we could get his haircut was if dh took him to the barbershop downtown and he sat on a merry go round horse. I finally gave up. Just this year I will take him to the barber--and I was nervous the first time I did it!

Ha! My son (Ethan's uncle) was the same way when he was little. He had gone through a lot of medical treatments when he was very small and he seemed to think that the hair stylist was going to stick needles in him too. He didn't know the difference and would have NOTHING to do with it! Luckily, we had a friend who was a very good hair stylist but looked nothing like one. He was a big, ol' muscular long haired former Marine whose arms were covered with tattoos. Dustin LOVED him and would sit very still for him and let him cut his hair.

Awww! It's sooo nice when they'll cooperate for hair cuts. Aubrey won't let her Mommy come near her, but will sit still at the beauty salon and let them cut it. lol None of mine had enough hair at that age to cut.

He's such a little cutie pie!! And he's got the face of an angel. Just wanna snuggle him!

I cant imagine a baby of that age having enough hair to cut!

They trim Hailies bangs now but I have no clue if Keyana will ever get a haircut...lol. Her hair when we wash it and brush it out is now halfway down her back. Cant tell it though with how curly it is...lol.

Janet, his hair still isn't all that thick, but it had gotten long enough to come down over his ears a little, and he had one big loopy thing in the front that hung down over his forehead. He went from having lots of dark hair when he was born to having most of it fall out and now it's all growing back in, getting lighter and lighter.

Donna, he is such a precious poppet. I too am impressed with how patient and still he seemed to be.

Little PC is so very ticklish that he kept squirming and wriggling and giggling while the stylist worked on his hair during his first cut. It's a darn good thing that curly hair is so forgiving.

    What a cutie!
