    Rare Earth Magnets

    AKA Bucky Balls.

    These things are ADDICTIVE!

DH bought 2 sets, one for each of us, and got a 3rd free, which we're splitting. Jett got to see them, but has been told these are OUR toys, and we explained issues with swallowing them, leaving them laying around - Dogs and cats aren't as smart as humans - and so on. He's just not old enough yet... Not mentally, anyway. And after someone's child here (Susiestar???) taking them to school... Yeah. Not happening.

DH is keeping his at work. Me, probably at home... In my *-*-* drawer. The one place Onyxx refuses to go... I've hidden all kinds of stuff in there! (And no, I'm not telling you which drawer. She might might might read this...)
    Me - 39, situational depression
DH - 42, depression, PTSD... Disabled Vet
Raven - 19M, PC, lives with bio mom
Onyxx - 17F, depression, PTSD, bipolar, stomach issues
    Jett - 13M, ADD/LD/FAS (?!), typical teen with MONSTER sprinkles - UGH
Beanie Baby - due October 2012!

Possum, Squirrel & Bubbles - LOLCats and LOLDog

    Re: Rare Earth Magnets

Not quite. Rare earth magnets are pretty powerful, so you can use them to pick each other up, or use another magnet. They're a bit easier to store than lego, 'cause you can just pile them on a metal surface.

I have a "sculpture" attached to the side of one of the file cabinets in my office. It's made of rare earth magnets, and the super heavy-duty magnets from old computer drives that have been taken apart, some horseshoe-shaped, and some shaped like hockey pucks. It changes shape all the time, depending on who else is in my office and whether they fidget or not. Very entertaining.
