Re: "There's a bathroom on the right..."

Those are always so funny, especially with kids, when they repeat what they thought they heard! Yesterday one of my Facebook friends posted this conversation between her husband and their three-year-old son, Sammy ... I thought it was hysterical!

Sammy: "Dad ... I want to play my guitar and sing the Almond Butters ..."
    Daddy: "Who?"
    Sammy: "Allllllmond Buuuuuuutters! Allllllmooond Buuuuuuuttttters!"
Daddy: "Sammy, you mean the Allman Brothers?"
Sammy: "That's what I said, Daddy! The Almond Butters!"

When PC was 3 there was a country song out called "Jukebox Junkie". PC *loved* that song. We had to buy him the single, and he was singing it all the time. Except, he sang "Juice box Junkie", which he was at the time.

Hmmm. I'm just getting a long list of songs..........

But we'll never let Nichole live down the "bangin' on the bathroom door" instead of bangin' on the bathroom floor.

Lisa - Warrant - Cherry Pie?

I've had quite a few in my time... I'm SURE my parents had a few laughs at me.

Yeah, it's a list, if you click on the names it will give you different things that were mis-heard.

I once heard: You've got the most stumblingly blue eyes I've ever seen
The real lyrics? You've got the most unbelieveable blue eyes I've ever seen

(Donna Lewis, "I Love You Always Forever")

And I remember the day I figured out the real lyrics to Animotion's "Obsession". I was 27 years old, it was 2000... 16 years after it was released. I was in the car, at a Ross store in Tulsa, OK.

Re: "There's a bathroom on the right..."

I'd have to ask pc the song title and the group. Nichole was about 10 when it came out. She'd go around the house singing that part (well it is a catchy tune) and we'd just snicker. We never did correct her. She found out once she was older and was like omg. lol

My personal favourite was when I discovered that the song Big Ol' Jet Airliner by the Steve Miller Band was not about three guys names Bingo, Jedd and Lionel.
