We're going to get our tree tonight. A real one for the first time. Our old faithful artificial tree finally fell apart beyond repair last year. I just hope we don't pull a Griswold! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/xmasdec.gif[/img] We usually put the tree up and start hanging the lights on Thanksgiving evening but we were out of town this year.

This year I think we're skipping the real tree as the girlies won't be home with us.

DH:not gfg bio: Phillip 42 physically disabled due to a car accident(lots of meds), AS, reading disability but has overcome somewhat by simply not giving up, genius in math, very sweet man
GFG:Christopher 6 2nd year in Kindergarten, doing much better than last year, ADHD(Sept 2006), LD(summer 2007), ODD(just recently), meds:adderall 2x daily, clonodine 3x daily, benadryl x2 to sleep, has been on MANY!! different meds since diagnosed haven't found the right mix yet

We USED to put up the tree on the Friday after T-giving. Not anymore. It's too much for our anxiety-mood disorder kiddo. She just can't handle it. We will put it up the weekend before Christmas. We did that last year and things went so much more smoothly.
