    eating real food again!

i was not eating at first, then eating fast food last few weeks since gfg ran away and then landed in juvie. Today I had NO energy at the gym (and wouldn'thave gone except the personal trainer was already booked)so I stopped at store on way home and got turkey and apricots and apples and oatmeal and eggs and am cooking a proper dinner and got breakfast/lunches pretty laid out for a few days. Got to follow the advice I've seen elsewhere to take care of myself so I'm strong for when he gets out of juvie (prob on the 10th). I'll have this week "off" with no kid so I'll get myself back on the mat to jiu-jitsu class also next week so I can start feeling like myself again!

here's how i make it: i cook it in milk and throw in about 1/2 chopped apple, a bunch of cinammon and a handful of raisins. Dump brown sugar on top and it's really good. The recipe also called for toasting the oatmeal with slivered almonds before adding the milk but i don't usually do that part.
