    TACO CASSEROLE

    Taco Casserole

This is different, but makes a excellant dish to serve for parties
(or as a dip as well)

    1 pound ground meat
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons of Picante Hot sauce or Pace Hot Salsa
    1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 cup frozen corn
    32 ounces chili with beans
    3/4 pound grated cheese
    Nacho cheese tortilla chips

In a skillet brown the ground meat. Remove from heat and drain. Add the
onion, garlic and pepper and cook until transparent. Add the Tabasco, tomato
sauce, and chili powder. Grease the crock pot with cooking spray. Layer in
5 layers, beginning with meat mixture, then nacho cheese tortilla chips,
    meat
mixture end the fifth layer with chips. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8
    hours.

I topped mine like any other taco with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion..if
it is not hot enough add more salsa as a topping..LOL Then break out the
    fire hose!!
