I found these two recipes in our Local Paper and thought you may enjoy and use them for your Halloween parties for your kids as well as your own, LOL [img]graemlins/pumpkin.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/moon.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/witch.gif[/img]
Halloween Bug juice
2 - 10 oz, pkgs frozen strawberries defrosted
1 - 6 oz. can lemonade concentrate thawed
1 quart gingerale
2 - C. Raisins
6 - Gummy worms
Mix strawberries & lemonade in a blender until smooth and thick. Gradually add gingerale. Transfer the beverage to a punch bowl. Stir in any remaining gingerale and the raisins. Place the gummy worms on the rim of the bowl for a swampy effect.
Halloween Popcorn
8 - C popped popcorn
1/2 C. salted pumpkin seeds
1/2 C. Dried cranberried or raisins
1/2 C. Banana chips; broken into pieces
1 1/2 C. sugar 1/2 C Corn syrup
1/4 C. water
1/4 C Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
In a large buttered bowl, combine first 4 ingredients; set aside. In med. saucepan combine sugar, corn syrup and water; bring to a boil. Cook covered for 3 min. Uncover and cook without stirring, until mixture reached hard boil stage, 4-5 min. Add butter & vanilla; cook stirring 1 min. Pour over popcorn mixture; toss quickly to coat. Turn mixture out on a baking sheet and spread using buttered hands. Cool and break into pieces.
