    Good Sunday Morning!

    Good morning sleepy heads!

Duckie had a sleepover last night, I'll be going to pick her up soon. I have some last minute house & yard work before my in-laws come over to bbq with us for Father's Day.

I'm a little blue right now, missing my father, but I'll snap out of it because I don't want to take away from Dh's & FIL's day. But I do miss Dad this morning.

Dh, unfortunately, has to look at my brake fluid this morning as my brake light came on last night. Looks like I'll be taking my car in this week for more work.

    Have a great day!

Good morning, TM and the rest of you sleepyheads!

I'm sorry your heart is aching this morning. I had that same feeling about my aunt at Christmas--not an overwhelming grief but a quiet heartache and sense of loss.

We did our FD family gathering at my house last night so the work is behind me. Church this morning and then we'll be working on county fair projects. I think we'll start hunting down some unique jam and jelly recipes and maybe get going on a sewing projects.

Have a good day everyone and a special hug to those of you who are missing your dads today and to those for whom Father's Day is a painful reminder.

    Re: Good Sunday Morning!

    G'day, people.

TM, I'm sorry you're missing your father. The first Father's day, first birthday, first Chritsmas - it's always hard. The secret is to remember the times you had him there for Fathers Day and all the other times. You had all those years and that memory will be with you today.

SRL, you sound like you have a productive day planned. I love cooking for those sort of things. I have a tomato relish recipe to die for, if you want it.

It's late here tonight but GFG3 has been playing computer games, this is the first chance I've had to get to the computer.

Definitely feelnig a lot better this evening. I have a meeting tomorrow, I should be going in to GFG3's school for it but I'm not sure if I'm quite well enough (despite improvement) plus he has two assessment tasks which must be given to him tomorrow morning. If I go in to the school and GFG3 comes with me, he won't be able to work on the assessment tasks on schedule. If I leave him at home, he will be unsupervised and not able to work so well. As it is, the meeting is planned to be conducted with me on the phone (probably all day) so it will be difficult enough for me to keep available for GFG3. The cordless phone battery just won't last long enough.

On top of this, GFG3 is fighting a new virus, it would be better for him to work at home and not get dragged in to the school. It IS a correspondence school, after all!

I'm glad to be finally improving (I hope). we need to keep it that way. I have to go out on Tuesday to take GFG1 to his new specialist, so I think I need to keep my head down tomorrow, despite the inconvenience to the school.

    Enjoy your Sunday.

    Good Morning,

TM-I'm sorry your heart is hurting this morning.

SRL-Sounds like a very busy day ahead for you.

Marg-I'm glad you are starting to feel better-it's been a long haul.

We saw the Proposal (I think that's the name) last night. It was very funny and cute.

While I was at church gfg called to wish dh a happy Father's Day. He is having fun at respite and we pick him up at 4:00 today. At 1:00 we drop pc off on campus for her three week stay. She really doesn't want to go, hasn't even started packing but she is going, it's good for her.

Somehow today I'm hoping to make it to the health club and hoping to find a way to make dh's day special for Father's Day.

Wishes for a peaceful day to all
