    zoloff, xanax ?

    anyone know if these cause weight gain?
    Kjs: 49 Yrs.
    Dh: 58 Yrs.
    gfg boy: 16 yrs. GAD, ADHD,ODD, Disassociation, severe mood disorder, depersonalization - Depression,-lamictal 200mg, klonipin 2x's/day, vyvanse.
    boy: 28 yrs. married
    granddaughter 11/15

    Kenzie - 4 yr Springer/lab mix.

    Zoloft causes weight gain, as do most ADs. I take Lexapro and have gained about 30 pounds....stinks.

    Zoloft sure can. Any antidepressant can cause great hunger, thus tons of binge eating.

    Funny, my gfg ate less when he started the zoloft. One of the side effects is supposed to be increased appetite. I think it's like all meds, they affect everyone just a little different.

    Zoloft didn't make my gfg gain weight. Not much does but she did have hunger pains and stomach aches.

    Dx:Seizure Disorder Meds: depakote and Abilify
    SO- Very patient man who does well with Gfg.
    3 dogs- Gracie, Totto, Pearl, and Stitch

    If you ever find yourself single make sure you only date men with no children. They they either don't know your kid is a gfg or don't know the difference.
