I would tell the Dr that you are not interested in trying anymore SSRIs - you have the right as a parent to do that. Although Depakote did not work, there are many more mood stabilizers out there the dr could try if he felt that was appropriate - not to mention other anti-depressants that are not SSRIs.</p><p></p><p>I am so sorry you are going through all of this - I remember how hard it was when Mat was that age - it broke my heart.
