Yeah for Scorps and Jethro Tull!!!!!! I still have Thick as a Brick on record. I won't give it up! I think I went deaf at a Scopions concert.

I have a black concert Tshirt from an Eagles concert from just a couple of years ago. I remember the concert two tone shirts....the ones that looked like baseball jerseys. Now, try to find one of those at a concert.

Feather roach clip....bafwa! LMBO

I think I lost my most of my hearing back in about...hmmm...1977 when I went to a Jethro Tull concert. When you grow up in a small town, you go to ANY concert. Not many came through my neck of the woods. My ears rang for DAYS.

The other one (ok...I'm showing my age) that was surprisingly astounding was John Denver. He did a 4 hour concert, which is unheard of these days. He played two hours with his band, then 2 hours with just him and his guitar. He was brilliant.

Mustang - YOU are beautiful!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing the picture. I had you pictured with shoulder lenghth curly hair somehow. Brunette - just shorter. ANd those SOCKS on that baby that match his SHIRT???? OMG he's like a little adorable elf. I remember those times - I was sure my son would grow up to be a barefoot hillbilly. He hated shoes. Your daughter is so pretty.

:916blusher: Aww...thanks Star. And just to clear it up...those aren't my kids. They are my SIBLINGS! LOL (Two of them anyway...the last one wasn't even a twinkle in anyone's eye when that picture was taken.)

This is my sister NOW:

I am SOOOOOO glad that I burned most of my 80's bad-hair pictures!
All the teenagers around here are starting to wear mohawks, and if my difficult child EVER caught sight of me in one, I would lose all credibility in the "No you can't because I said so!" argument.

Black eyeliner, black lipstick, black nail polish. Artfully ripped sweatshirt a la Flashdance. Black lace-up granny boots. Oh, the HORROR!

(And Dippity Do gel was absolutely the best for getting the really big spikes in the mohawk to stand straight up.)

I LOVE 80'S STUFF!!!!

Stang.....not Aqua net.....STIFF STUFF!!!

I'm from NJ....I KNOW how to get your hair to stand up....k? Stiff stuff and a hair dryer!

I gotta find a picture of me with the big hair.

I am soooo good with this style. My daughter had "crazy hair" day when she was in elementary school and didn't give me any notice. So I took out the strongest pump hairspray I had and the blow dryer. She had big bangs and those big wings on the side.
