A Big Hand for the Little Lady

That movie keeps coming to mind as it relates to my mom. I’m so proud of her. She is truly embracing life to the fullest. In the past 3 months she has done several new things: She played poker with my brother’s group and won the jackpot! (thus the reference to the movie). She sang karaoke in a bar. She played tennis for the first time in 30 years (with her portable oxygen I might add). Oh and she had eyebrows and eyeliner tattooed!

Not too shabby for a 69 year old woman. I hope I age like her.

Wow... That's pretty cool!

...Though I'm not sure I'd want EYELINER tattooed... The thought gives me goose bumps. Though... I know someone who does that.
