A question about risperdral Consta 35.75

Just wondering if anyone has a child on this dosage, and what else? I do wonder if some other calmer might help DS19 with anxiety/depression or would that counter affect the medication/needle?

Of course, smoking dope doesn't help, does it?

Trish, I'm not sure I understand your question.

Risperdal is an atypical antipsychotic. It treats hallucinations and delusions and also calms rages and anxiety. In the US for children, it is typically dosed in tablet form in increments of 0.25 mg increments. So a child might take 0.25 mg twice a day or 0.5 mg twice a day. Somewhere in that ballpark. Are you talking about the injectable version?

And yes, smoking pot would definitely counteract the positive effects of taking Risperdal.

Yes, DS is taking injection every two weeks. Just wondered whether anything else might be subscribed for him as he says he needs the dope to help him calm down and de stress.
