What does enabling TLS1.0 allow? Supposedly, it allows connection between my computer and a distant, secure server. Does it allow that server to access all info on my comuter?

Specifically:

"The TLS protocol provides communications privacy over the Internet. The protocol allows client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery."

In other words, it allows a secure connection. We use it a LOT on government installations.
