Sharon: said "difficult child is a very complex little boy" certainly doesnt give you the warm fuzzies, does it? Heather: Yes, difficult childs survival skills are well-honed. Thats a great paper, by the way. I read it a couple of weeks ago on the board and have buzzed through it a couple of times since then. It sure fits difficult child in many areas. Martie: Barely hanging on by my fingernails some days.... Fran: Hes done so well the last 2 yrs I wasnt prepared for the bottom to fall out again. Yesterday was a good day. He was excited about passing his Reading TAKS, brought another grade up in a core class, he was making plans to get extra work from other teachers to bring the other core classes up. He needed to experience the success. Got up this morning and started begging me to stay home from school . Theres only 8 days of school left. Surely we can make it 8 more days . I'm second guessing myself a lot these days.
