difficult child 3 did attend a social skills class (a couple of sessions, we found out about the course right at the end) but he really was too young for the material on offer in that course. Parents weren't involved (and I agree, we can better follow-through on our kids' learning if we are there) and it was about 4 years ago now (maybe more).
It would be good to get access to another course. At the moment, every social situation is another learning experience. And when the other kids are also mostly autistic, it does make it difficult to apply the usual rules!
