Back from Vegas

The trip was mixed. Our laptop is broken, happened on the trip out. I think the hard drive crashed, one that we put in less than 6 months ago too. I shouldn't have let manster carry it part of the time. So we didn't have the computer to keep manster occupied. Plus, the weather was COLD. The day at the pool was out. We did go to the M&M world and Coke world next store and had fun shopping while brother gambled (and won).

We had some highlights. Phantom was wonderful. I think the man who played the Phantom was better than the guy we saw on Broadway a few years ago. We had amazing dinners that were way too expensive and I was happy my brother paid but even so I still had sticker shock over our meals.

We spent too much time in our room watching movies and eating too much sugar because of the weather. I think we bought about 5 pounds of M&Ms and ate at least one between us while we passed time in the room. I need to get back over to healthy living to get some encouragement. I go back to work after a week off and for some reason I'm having anxiety about going back.

Let me tell you manster's "aspielite" felt like "aspieheavy" on this trip!

I missed everyone and will catch up throughout the day.

Glad you're back, and that the trip wasn't a total disaster At least you didn't say you lost a lot of money in the casinos (that's what I'd be lamenting if husband and I had gone)!

Sorry we couldn't connect, ML. It WAS cold here, unusually so for this time of year. Today is better, but still windy. Hope you had a good time, though.

i'm sorry the weather was cold, sounds like you enjoyed being together though that's good. me and my difficult child locked up in a hotel room for a matter of days......... wooo i don't think that would be a good time lol.

I'm glad you had a few good times- I'm sorry to hear about the laptop. I hope you feel like you had a break, even though there were some disappointments.
