Watching the Queen video has me thinking about how our thinking about ourselves and each other has changed in the past forty years.
We are an extraordinary generation.
Things look and feel pretty messy but boy, have we changed things.
Thanks for posting that video, Lil. I really enjoyed it. Bohemian Rhapsody is one of those pieces of music we know so well that we don't even hear it anymore. Or we sing over it when we do hear it, and love it and forget how extraordinary all of our stories are. And how brave we are, really.
I was going to add something about the courage it takes to live our own lives.
But I don't want you guys to think I am nerdy.
Though the preponderance of evidence does sometimes point overwhelmingly in that very direction.
Cedar, thanks for posting that Heineken ad -- it is just amazing and brilliant. I so enjoyed it. And then of course I listened to the whole thing again. I just love Hungarian Rhapsody. I love Queen too. I suppose that shows how old I am. Still, it seems that young people appreciate Queen as much as we did.
