Oh, sorry to mislead MM. Mamaof5 isn't in Alberta, but northern Ontario is at high-risk for fires as well, and the towns between Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury are all on evacuation notice. Since she's right between those 2 spots, I was just wondering how she's faring...
(Of course, down here in the south part of the province, I'm just going by the MNR alert maps)

Wow, I'm just over an hour or so from Sudbury and heard nothing about the risk.

No panic at all Trinity 
After seeing your post I did end up finding an article that there was a fire near the sault and 2 outside of sudbury a few days back, they were put out though.
