Cartoons to lift your day (great studies on human nature, especially difficult child)

Today's Dennis the Menace: Dennis is at the grocery store with-his mom, his arms filled with-pkgs. "How about if we load up on cookies and then see if there's any money left for vegetables?"

Today's Hagar the Horrible: Hagar is taking to Helga, who is stirring a pot. "You're sure you're not mad at me for staying out so late and not coming home for dinner?" ""Of course not."
"Great! What's for breakfast?"
"Last night's dinner."

I need these cartoonists as my therapists.

I have a whole collection of difficult child-related cartoon clips I've collected over the years. Even been known to use them as ice-breakers for meetings with new teachers.

Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes and Jerry Scott's Zits (with Jim Borgman) and Baby Blues (with Rick Kirkman) have always been great comfort for me. If someone makes comics out of it, it's not only my family and my sons...
