Children who play video games for two hours a day may 'DOUBLE risk of getting ADHD' - Daily Mail

Children who spend long hours watching television and playing video games could double their risk of developing attention problems such as ADHD, according to a new study.

Youngsters' brains can become used to the flashing screens and rapid-fire editing of video games and television, making it harder for them to concentrate in the classroom where there is less visual stimulation.

This has made it harder for brains to be gripped by quieter pursuits – including paying attention at school.
