difficult child got a raise!!

difficult child called me to tell me the good news. She had her three month review today and was told that she was doing a great job. They called her responsible, dependable, always willing to help others, and said that she takes initiative. They gave her a dollar an hour raise.

difficult child got so emotional on the phone (in a good way). She was so proud of herself . . . she had never gotten a raise before.

This job is so good for her. I am a happy mama tonight.

How wonderful Kathy! How often can any of us report that our difficult child's got a raise....not very often if ever. That has to be a big motivator for her. So glad to finally hear some good news. You must be feeling good right now.
