Like just about everybody, I screen my calls. I LOVE caller ID.

Good thing too. I get a zillion calls a day. Many from bill collectors I can't pay. (believe me, you get tired of dealing with nasty attitudes) And a vast majority from telemarketers.

Got one tonight. And this is a first. The phone rang and Nichole jumped to pick it up cuz she's expecting a call from her friend.

Nichole: What the heck! Hey Mom, it says Don't Answer!

Me: Who said don't answer?

Nichole: It came up on the caller ID "Don't Answer"

Next thing we know I telemarketer is blabbing into the answering machine about loans and such.

Brilliant telemarking approach. Don't Answer.

O my.... I can't believe they would have that as their caller id. I would laugh my tush off on that one.

I think that's a great marketing idea! They know you can't resist...like WET PAINT! DON'T TOUCH! And don't we always touch to make sure?
