Eating Breakfast - 45 Minutes? WDYD?

I have an adult friend who is a slow eater. She picks through her food meticulously and chews thoroughly. Never has a problem with weight control.

I don't see this in itself as negative--just not fitting in with someone else's idea of how long it should take to eat a meal.

If there are sensory issues I could see some kids taking time for that reason.

Again you guys never disappoint =>

That idea of reading to your kids during breakfast is so cool! I'm going to put that in my bag of tricks to work on over the summer.

Part of the problem I was thinking may be because of his low tone (mild as it is) - his jaws may not work fast enough. Anyway, I'd be glad to get it to 30 minutes and I don't think that's asking too much considering the size of his breakfast (again, not huge but not tiny).

Thank you all again. :bravo:
