  1. Has anyone read Elephant In the Playroom? It is a really nice compilation of stories about parents and their special needs kids. Really a good book.Just vurious if anyone else had read it. It gave me some insight into some of my son's behaviors.

Yes I read the book. I got it after my uncle called me about the author having been interviewed on tv last year. It was a good collection of stories, but not as helpful as I had hoped (for my situation). I did enjoy it though.

I thought you were going to tell me you had an elephant in your playroom. I was going to tell YOU...I had bats in my belfry.

Haven't read it but I love the title!
  5. It was a really good book about special needs. I know for me it just let me know there are some other parents out there dealing with some of these things. It was a real eye-opener for me as a parent to see others who dealt with the same struggles I dealt with. And how some of them battled with things like medicating their child.
