Epilepsy Awareness Month

It's Epilepsy Awareness Month. And I share this on behalf of a friend who has an epileptic child. She is asking for everyone to spread the word about how to help should you come across someone having a seizure.

And I got a perfect score on this!

Thanks, people still really do not understand seizures, and they think they only look like full generalized seizures. I wish more people understood how impactful seizures can be on a life.

My kids don't have this, but a friend of mine's child does. And I don't care if you know someone or not. You can just be out in public, and just knowing this information can help you help them should they have a seizure.

for sure. People still think they should stick something in the mouth of a person having a seizure. There are lots of myths and people can be physically hurt/killed and certainly there is a lot of psychological struggle.
